Castleford Media at the 2012 Connecting Up Conference

Marketing, communications and social media are the names of the game at this year’s Connecting Up conference, and as a media partner of this exciting event, the Castleford Media team is going to be out and about at Darling Harbour to learn about the latest developments in the not for profit and charity sectors.

The Connecting Up conference has provided opportunities for charities and nonprofits to make connections and learn more about the latest technologies – as well as the strategies and skills that can be used to implement them – since 2004.

This year, we’re looking particularly forward to the Another Cloud Is Possible keynote speech from Allen Gunn, which offers valuable insight into strategies to keep not-for-profits on-message and engaging their target audiences by maximising the right technologies.

Likewise, social justice advocate Michael Sheldrick’s message about successful digital storytelling – combined with other online, social media and offline campaigns – reinforces our own approach to content marketing, from articles and blogs to web, email and social media campaigns.
