Google’s Blogger puts a ban on sexually explicit images [VIDEO]

Free blogging platforms have helped millions of people to create and publish their own content.

They have helped make the internet a potent force for freedom of expression and allowed people with even the most unusual interests find one another and share their ideas. But freedom has its limits.

Google has decided to clean up its own blogging platform, Blogger, by cracking down on blogs with sexually-explicit images and videos.

As of March the 23rd, blogs with sexual explicit visual content will be automatically made private, where only blog members can see it.

Bloggers who have posted this type of material have the opportunity to either remove it or keep their blog private.

However, Blogger will still allow nudity as long as it has a purpose, such as for art or education.
