Highlights from ad:tech Sydney
The Castleford Media team has had a busy couple of days at the ad:tech conference at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre – and now that events are drawing to a close, we wanted to share a round-up of our highlights from the last two days.
Yesterday, Castleford Media director Adam Barber gave a presentation about strategies for aligning quality website content with your sales objectives.
In case you missed it, his presentation is available on SlideShare – and it contains some really interesting facts and figures about how fresh content in the form of articles and blogs can be used to support your conversion objectives.
You'll also find it's full of great hints about how you can optimise your site for the right keywords and make the most of your customer data to hone in on your target audience – and the best ways to communicate with them.
Knowing what people are searching for – and how they are carrying out their searches – is a great starting point, but then you'll need to follow through by creating optimised content that is supported with relevant and prominent calls to action.
ad:tech Sydney is one of our favourite digital marketing events of the year and we were also thrilled to catch presentations by Adam Lark of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, as well as The Art of Immersion author Frank Rose.
Members of the Castleford Media Twitter team were also onsite to communicate the latest news and views from ad:tech Sydney – you'll be able to recap their highlights by checking out our Twitter page.
If you'd like more information about Castleford Media, our fresh content services or Adam Barber's presentation, please contact us or leave a comment – and we'll see you at the next digital marketing event!
