Share your InstaPics: Instagram introduces web embeds

Is Instagram part of your company's social media strategy? If you post compelling pictures and videos with your followers on this app, then you have the option of sharing these gems with more people on other social networks!

The creative picture and video social networking service announced today (July 11) that web embedding for Instagram content is now available, making it easier to add these photos and videos to the stories your company wants to tell.

"Now, when you visit an Instagram photo or video page on your desktop web browser, you’ll see a new share button on the right side of your photo (just under the comments button)," Instagram posted in their blog.

"Click the button to see the embed code. Copy the block of text it gives you and paste it into your blog, website or article. When you hit publish, the photo or video will appear."

You don't have to worry about people showcasing your content as their own as Instagram states that they have made sure that you own your photos and videos, no matter where your content appears.

So if a follower decides to embed your image on their website, everyone will be able to clearly see that the content belongs to your company.

Your Instagram username will appear on the embedded photo or video. If users click on the Instagram logo, they will be taken back to your page where they can explore more of your content.

Instagram users that have set their content to private can keep it that way, with the embed code only available to those with public photos and videos.
