VIDEO: Over half of online adults are active on multiple social sites
If your social media strategy consists solely of Facebook, then it’s time to step up your game this year.
A recent study by Pew Research has revealed that while Facebook is still the leading social platform, more than half of US online adults were active on multiple social networking sites .
The study revealed that 52 percent of online adults in the US are active on multiple social platforms throughout 2014, a 10 percent increase from the year before.
Instagram is where a lot of people are now investing their time in, with 53 percent of online 18-29 year olds now active on the site.
Despite the interest in other sites, the report described Facebook as the “home base” of social media, with nearly three quarters of all online adults active on the site.
Therefore, having a presence on more than one social platform is now more important than ever.
